Your access is view-only. You can open every screen an admin can — every client, the inbox, the queues, the team's numbers, the settings — and nothing you do can change anything. That is deliberate: you can look anywhere without worrying about pressing the wrong thing.
What view-only looks like
- Where an admin would see a button — Approve, Invite a team member, Generate draft — you see instead: "Your access is view-only, so you can read this but not change it." Nothing is broken; the button is simply not yours.
- If you ever do reach a change, 180Connect refuses it and says: "You have view-only access, so you can look at everything but cannot change anything. Nothing was saved or sent. If something needs doing, ask an admin."
- If something needs changing, ask an admin. The admin guide says what they can do.
Your first day
The sidebar's Getting started card has three steps, each a screen worth knowing:
- View the client pipeline — Clients, with the pipeline report at the top: how many clients are at each stage, from not contacted to converted.
- Follow the inbox — every email to and from the branch mailbox.
- Track team performance — Analytics → Team analytics.
Where to find what
| You want to know | Look at |
|---|---|
| How outreach is going overall | Analytics → Team analytics: emails sent, replies, conversions over time, and who may need support |
| How one CAM is doing | Their name in Team analytics or Team management, which opens their own page |
| Where every client stands | Clients: the pipeline report, then the list. Filter it, or Ask in plain English |
| What the team is working on | Tasks: everyone's open tasks |
| What is waiting on an admin | Approvals & data quality, with a count on every queue |
| Whether the system is healthy | System health on the dashboard. If it shows a problem, see When something looks wrong |
| Who changed something, and when | Audit log: every recorded action, which can never be edited or deleted |
| What the team thinks of 180Connect | Feedback |
| What the AI has written, and what it cost | Artificial Intelligence |
What each screen is for day to day is in the CAM guide and the admin guide — you see both.
When the committee changes
Leadership usually runs the handover. Use Handing 180Connect to a new committee: most of it is about accounts and people outside the app, which view-only access does not limit.
